Title: Karnataka to come out with new solar policy

The Karnataka state government is set to come out with a fresh solar policy providing a roadmap for setting up solar parks with a total capacity of 1000 MW. The state is planning to set up 10 solar parks in these areas. Private companies would be allowed to set up their grid-connected plants in these solar parks.
