The development of Arakere lake in Bangalore would be taken up soon. A direction in this regard has been issued to officials of the BBMP (Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike) and the BDA (Bangalore Development Authority) by Karnataka Transport Minister and city in-charge Ramalinga Reddy. The development of the lake would be taken up in two phases at a cost of Rs 14 crore.
