The level of registration, defined as the percentage of registered births/deaths to the births/deaths estimated through SRS (Sample Registration System), determines the performance level of a State / Union territory in respect of registration of births and deaths.Map shows that 14 States/UTs namely Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab, Chandigarh, Delhi and Puducherry have recorded cent percent registration of births in 2010.
