Title: Adani Energy Solutions receives award of 7 GW renewable energy evacuation

After receiving a LOI from REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd., Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (formerly Adain Transmission) completed the acquisition of the Khavda Phase-IV Part-A transmission project on 02 September 2024. The business noted that this project strengthens AESL's leadership in India's energy transition and its position as the leading private sector transmission player. Under Phase IV, RECPDCL's Khavda IVA Power Transmission SPV will evacuate 7 GW of Renewable Energy (RE) from Khavda RE park by connecting 765 kV double circuit lines from Khavda to Lakadia and Bhuj in Gujarat and setting up transformation capacity of 4,500 MVA. We won the project through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) and will commission it in 24 months on BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer) and maintain it for 35 years. Rs 4,091 crore will be spent on the 298 mile (596 ckm) transmission project.
