Delhi's air quality rapidly deteriorated over the past 24 hours, clocking the season's worst AQI reading of 382, on the cusp of “severe” air level, on 03 November 2024, according to the Central Pollution Control Board's (CPCB) daily bulletin. Experts claimed calm breezes and falling mercury levels caused a 60-point decline over the preceding day, as the minimum temperature was 16.5°C, down from 21.1°C on 31 October 2024.
