Title: SBI, AFD ink €100m green finance pact at GIFT City

State Bank of India (SBI) has signed a €100 million line of credit agreement with Agence Française de Development (AFD) to increase green financing in India. The funds will be used for climate mitigation projects and adaptation initiatives to build resilience against climate risks. SBI aims to increase its green portfolio to 7.5-10% of domestic gross advances by 2030. The partnership allows SBI to leverage AFD's global expertise in climate finance, including support for innovative green technologies and ESG integration.
