The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will introduce a new green building rating system wherein a building constructed on plot area below 2500 sq.m. can obtain the rating. The standing committee has approved a resolution to start the system. The resolution stated that the civic body had started the system of GRIHA (green rating for integrated habitat assessment) in the municipal limits to promote construction of green buildings on plots which have an area of more than 2500 sqm.
