Title: Haryana to enact Motor Vehicles Act

The Haryana Transport Department has decided to come out with its own Haryana Motor Vehicle Taxation Act, 2013. The new Act will be tabled in the coming Haryana Vidhan Sabha Session. The main idea of the state in bringing this new Act, however, was to simplify tax collection and enable better compliance, which in turn would add the revenue generated by the department.
