Title: Haryana seeks funds for water schemes

Himachal Pradesh has urged the Centre to provide it funds under the NRDWP (National Rural Drinking Water Programme ) on a 90:10 basis as per the policy. Total 8411 water supply schemes were providing potable water to over 6 million and most were based on local sources. The habitations would be provided safe drinking water by March 2017, as envisaged in the 12th Five-Year Plan.
