The newsletter aims to provide a platform for the warranted dialogue on mitigation strategies, both within and among countries. The first issue on which this platform will try to engage policy-makers, researchers, civil society, and other stakeholders, is the issue of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs). The issue of NAMAs is most apt in context of the urgency of an international regime to not only support, but also to combine various domestic mitigation strategies, particularly across the North-South divide.
