Title: Andhra government to implement Energy Conservation Building Code

In a first in the country, the Andhra Pradesh state government is going to launch ECBC (Energy Conservation Building Code) for saving energy and reducing air pollution and power outages. The ground breaking ECBC implementation has been made mandatory by incorporation of the ECBC clause in online DPMS (Development Permission Management System) by the DTCP (Directorate of Town and Country Planning) of the Municipal Administration department from Monday (October 22). It will be formally launched soon.
