Title: World Bank-India ink $250-mn pact to boost rural income

The World Bank and the Government of India on 05 March 2019 signed a $250-million agreement for the NRETP (National Rural Economic Transformation Project) focused on promoting "women-owned and women-led" farm and non-farm enterprises. The NRETP is in addition to the $500-million NRLP (National Rural Livelihoods Project) approved by the World Bank in July 2011, said a statement by the World Bank.
