One City One Impact is the Union government’s mantra to showcase the progress made by 100 smart cities as Modi 2.0 completes 100 days in October 2019. The ministry of housing and urban affairs, the nodal ministry for Smart City Mission, has directed all 100 smart cities to choose one project that would show a direct impact on the quality of life of its residents. The projects have been classified under five broad thematic areas cleanliness, water, economy, inclusion and environment. Each city has identified either a new project or has prioritised a project that was already included under the Smart City Mission.
