Title: Big hotels sign MoU on waste water management

Around 32 five-star hotels in Delhi signed a MoU with the Department of Environment, Delhi Government, to preserve natural resources by complying with Green Hotel Guidelines. Green Hotel Guidelines facilitate promotion of measures relating to environment protection, waste reduction, water and energy conservation, and treatment of waste water generating from the hotels. As per the Memorandum of Understanding signed the hotels are supposed to set up a sewage treatment plant or biological effluent treatment plant for treating waste water by September 2013.
