The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Government of India, is implementing a programme on ‘Energy Efficient Solar/Green Buildings’ which promotes the energy efficient solar/ green building designs with renewable energy applications including GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) system. Under the programme, the Ministry promotes the energy efficient solar/green buildings by providing incentives to promotional activities, awards to urban local bodies & green buildings having maximum RE installations, incentives to Architects/Design consultants and other related activities.
