Title: Cities soon to be ranked on air quality

Major cities in the country will soon feature on a uniform national air quality index (AQI), which will rank them according to eight parameters, Chairman of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) Mr Susheel Kumar has said. The index will be chalked out by the CPCB, in consultation with health experts and representatives from State Pollution Control Boards (SPCB).
