Representatives of four major emerging economies will meet in New Delhi to try and build a common platform for an all-important meeting in Paris next year that will try to come up with a new global agreement on climate change. The meeting of the BASIC (Brazil, South Africa, India and China) group on 23-24 March in New Delhi follows the conference of parties (CoP) on climate change held in Warsaw last year.
