Title: UN panel: GHG emissions increased despite green steps

Nearly two weeks after predicting a gloomy future for the world due to global warming, a UN panel on April 13 2014 came out with yet another alarming report, telling the global community that the emissions of climate-damaging GHGs (greenhouse gases) have increased substantially despite reduction measures adopted by different countries. In its report, the UN's IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) said the emissions grew more quickly between 2000 and 2010 than in each of the three previous decades.
