In tune with the draft National Water Policy, 2012, Government of Puducherry has formulated the State Water Policy with an operational action plan in order to achieve the desired objectives. This water policy is applicable to all the water resources in the Union Territory. A Water Resources Control Management and Review Council or Committee will be constituted to monitor the implementation of the policy.
