According to the data shared by Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (CAQM), the number of 'good' to 'moderate' air quality days for the period from January 1 to March 31 in 2017 was 17. It was 24 in 2018, 32 in 2019, 38 in 2020, 13 in 2021, 27 in 2022 and 35 in 2023. CAQM said very low anthropogenic, industrial and commercial activities were recorded in 2020 due to the Covid-19-induced lockdown.
